This website anonymously collects the standard visitor statistics -- how you got here, what search engine you came from, yadda yadda yadda.

Posting and commenting on this site is anonymous. However, due to how the URLs are formed -- "/post/create/..." -- if you live somewhere like China where the government can track your internet usage unfettered, use an anonymous proxy before posting / browsing on this site for your own safety.

If you post something illegal (see the rules section) someone will probably come along, serve my host for a warrant, and gather the relevant IP addresses by hand. This site doesn't store any of that information, though, because that's a lot of work and I'm pretty lazy.

Other than the above, you're just a another face in the crowd.
