  1. I was being strung along for 8 months and the last two months being promised (almost daily) that I would have pay directly deposited,which never happened and never will.

    He does not have any investor funds. It's one thing to let his team know, people would gladly volunteer to work for free if they believed in something. But it's another to deceive 40 plus people into thinking he already has funds. I am a spiritual person and this is SO wrong on many levels. He is not just affecting these 40 people, he is also affecting their friends and family. It's not a family culture he is trying to create, it's a dictatorship. As long as people are "drinking the koolaide" Bruce is happy they are working for free. If you were one of the unfortunate ones who actually gave notice and left a paying job.....if you brought this up to him after you were tired of being lied to ......he and Aless will say "I didn't tell you to quit your job".... Then come the comments:  "we still have a doubter among us!".... does that sound like a family culture to you or a cult????

    I am being as direct as I possible can. it's ALL lies.

    In my opinion, they want people to work for free so they can build their company and have more to present to investors (manuals, employee packages, designs, etc)... when an employee questions too much or becomes aware and upset, they leave of course. He and Aless simply replace them with a new and enthusiastic individual who will be suckered at the promise of 6 figures, housing, a mercedes, etc... the package (bait) is quite impressive. In my book 100% of nothing is still nothing.

    I have completely cut ties with him. If you are smart, you would too. Just my two cents.
    There are many people still drunk from his "koolaide".... I've sobered up.

          I am mixed with black and white and it is not about race, it is about greed and the willful act of using all his employees in his attempts to mastermind his investment scheme.  Right is right and wrong is wrong I call it like I see it!  They are innocent bystanders who are real victims to this mess and there are his management team who is in on it.  Think about it. As a mamanger how could you continue to follow Bruce and then have your team members follow you? What does that say about these so called leaders? None of these leaders told there staff prior to employment that they will not get there 1st check, excited folks left there jobs and joined a company not knowing there would be no money.  Who in there right mind would leave a paying job for volunteer work? If they had the balls to be stright up about the situation, folks would have a choice rather than being placed in such an awful situation.

          This sickens me to my stomach, but these Gormans are creating their own bad KARMA. The question is how close is the dalmation to getting the money? Did you ever question why they make demands to help them work out the flaws in his concept and still no wire?  People use your head and open your eyes and realize you are pawns, he is using everyone to answer the questions from these so called Investors.  Frankly I think there is no investors yet, he is fine tuning his plan before presenting it to some investors, by then he would have all his bases covered and will laugh at everyone that helped him with his scheme.  He will be the next Bernie Madoff. 

          Top News!:Bruce "dalmation face" Gorman was a clever con artist who was able to mastermind a plan to extort money from investors and got his employees for 2.5 years to work for free.  Dalmation face was brilliant in executing the biggest employment and fraudulent investment scheme in the history of America.  The ex-con was a brilliant mastermind and although his previous employees posted blogs about this company and the owner, he was still able to acquire investments and is now on the run.  No one knows where Bruce "almation face" Gorman is, he left his bankrupt company and his wife Aless behind to face the charges...................     • San Diego follows labor law regulations set forth by the California Department of Industrial Relations. This includes lunch breaks and rest periods for hourly and non-exempt workers. The law provides requirements for employers in allowing workers to take rest periods and meal breaks throughout a given shift and also provides employees with recourse in the event employers refuse to workers these rights.

      1.  Rest Peroid Regulations

      o    California labor law requires employees be given a 10-minute rest period for every four hours worked. An employer must attempt to grant this rest period as close to the middle of the four-hour work period as possible. If the nature of the work prevents this from happening, the employee doesn't forfeit the rest period and must still receive it by the end of the four-hour work window. It is illegal for an employer to count a bathroom break as an employee's 10-minute rest period under California labor law.

      Meal Break Rules

      o    For every five hours worked, an employer must provide a worker with an uninterrupted 30-minute meal break. This is the case for every city in California including San Diego. An employee may waive the right to a meal break if she only works six hours in a given shift. It is illegal for an employer to refuse to give a employee a meal break though an employer may require a worker to remain on-duty while taking her meal break. If this is the case, California law requires the employer to pay the worker for the 30-minute meal period.

      Filing a Wage Claim

      o    Under California law, if an employer fails to provide a worker with an appropriate meal break, the employer must pay the worker for an additional hour of work at the employee's hourly rate. If an employer refuses to pay an employee covered under the Industrial Welfare Commission Wage Orders the additional hour's wage, the employee may file a wage claim with the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. An employee working in San Diego should file a claim with a branch office of the division located in the city.

      Leaving Work Early

      o    An employee may not refuse her 30-minute meal period or accumulated rest periods to allow her to leave work early. If she waives the right to a rest period or meal break, her employer is free to retain her services for her entire shift and does not legally have to pay an additional hour's wage under California law. The law also does not allow an employee to arrive late to work by subtracting rest periods or a meal break from her schedule.

    • If a person has unpaid bills, a creditor may seek remedy through the courts by filing a lawsuit and obtaining a judgment against the person. The judgment may allow the creditor to garnish, or take, a percentage of the person's wages. Federal law dictates when an employee can be dismissed from a job due to wage garnishment.

      1.  The Law

      o    Wage garnishment requires an employer to withhold a specific sum from an employee's pay in compliance with a court order or under directive from another requesting authority, such as the Internal Revenue Service. The employer must turn those monies over to the creditor who has had the person's wages garnished. Title III of the Consumer Credit Protection Act prohibits an employer from terminating an employee due to wage garnishment based upon a single debt, regardless of how many times a wage garnishment is levied in an attempt to collect on that one debt.

      Considerations

      o    Title III will not protect employees from termination in all wage-garnishment situations. After the first wage garnishment, a subsequent request for wage garnishments based upon a different debt can lead to job loss. Federal law does not prohibit the employer from terminating an employee due to wage garnishments that result from second or subsequent debts. Additional wage garnishments add an extra layer of work for the employer and that is a responsibility the employer may not want to take on.

      Consequences

      o    A wage garnishment is a public record and it will appear on your credit report as such. Public records have an adverse impact on your FICO credit score, according to myFICO. If you are terminated from your job due to multiple wage garnishments, keep in mind that many employers perform credit checks as part of the hiring process. If your credit is damaged due to the presence of wage garnishments, this may prevent a prospective new employer from hiring you.

      Prevention/Solution

      o    According to the Federal Trade Commission, if you have a lot of debt, you should contact your creditors as soon as possible and inform them of your financial situation. Try to make payment arrangements with the creditor directly. This may prevent the creditor from suing you or seeking a wage garnishment. If you can proactively address the debt that you owe, you may be able to keep your employer out of the process altogether and avoid jeopardizing your employment.

    The FasFood Commons project by GormanOne© promotes long term economic growth for communities, businesses and the workforce.  Massive job creation and environmental leadership highlight key goals of our new concept.  We offer the opportunity to address many of the economic and environmental challenges with this innovative, dynamic and sustainable business concept.  While we cannot predict the turnaround of the national or global economic climate, we have conceptualized a winning business concept to heavily influence these pressing issues.

    Consumer confidence and discretionary income has significantly been reduced; a reflection of the rising unemployment rates.  The food retail industry has shown signs of economic distress during last year and the first half of this year.  My colleagues in the food industry report that fast casual and fast food franchisers closed stores or reduced workforce demands in an attempt to meet base revenue goals.  Government agencies face pressure from environmental issues while trying to meet the need to create lucrative and sustainable job opportunities.   In an effort to answer this pressing call to action, these and other issues are considered as we carefully construct the detailed master plan for the build out of the FasFood Commons project by GormanOne©.

Go to North Carolina Dept of corrections website and search his name. Did 4 years there. These people are nothing but con artists. I fell for it for about a year, but thank god did not leave my current job. I can't believe people would actually quit their jobs to go work for these morons. what investors in their right minds are going to put up millions of dollars to buy all of the employees mansions, cars, huge bonuses, etc... None that I have ever heard of. Everyone is in Atlanta on their own dime. The Gormans have not paid for any expenses, much less wages. They have already been kicked out of their temp. office space, and are currently working out of a motel. It will all implode soon, because people are starting to feel the pinch from their spouses. They even told people a while back that the investors were from the Saudi Royal Family! Really, REALLY? Have you seen the "business plan" It looks like it was put together by a third grader, and apparantly that is Bruce's level of education. The numbers make no sense whatsoever. They are all over the place, and don't tie out to anything. Their is no M,D, & A whatsoever. It is a complete joke that any investor will chunk in the trash. This project will never receive any funding because the concept is completely flawed. Have you seen how much they plan on charging for rent of a kitchen? 60-80k per month. Not a restaurant around that can pay that kind of rent for a nonbranded kitchen. you could build a multimillion dollar facility and have payments lower than that. I can't believe people would actually quit their jobs to go work for these morons. what investors in their right minds are going to put up millions of dollars to buy all of the employees mansions, cars, huge bonuses, etc... None that I have ever heard of. Everyone is in Atlanta on their own dime. The Gormans have not paid for any expenses, much less wages. They have already been kicked out of their temp. office space, and are currently working out of a motel. It will all implode soon, because people are starting to feel the pinch from their spouses. They even told people a while back that the investors were from the Saudi Royal Family! Really, REALLY? Have you seen the "business plan" It looks like it was put together by a third grader, and apparantly that is Bruce's level of education. The numbers make no sense whatsoever. They are all over the place, and don't tie out to anything. Their is no M,D, & A whatsoever. It is a complete joke that any investor will chunk in the trash. This project will never receive any funding because the concept is completely flawed. Have you seen how much they plan on charging for rent of a kitchen? 60-80k per month. Not a restaurant around that can pay that kind of rent for a nonbranded kitchen. you could build a multimillion dollar facility and have payments lower than that. It just does not work and never will. I hope and pray that noone else gets hurt, but it appears from a mole I have on the inside that they are still drinking the koolaid. I hope the Gormans get what they have coming to them, and end up in prison for a very long time. Hey Bruce and Aless... Please no more hiding behind bible verses in your responses to this blog. You are not christians and never have been. You are complete and total con artists. Bruce jr. is well on his way to following in daddy's footsteps.     Bruce and I wanted to send out an update and let you know where GormanOne stands.  I know you all are just as excited and ready to go as we are.  As of today, we have one final piece of the puzzle that we are waiting for.  The wonderful deal we got for the offices, which are amazing by the way, came with some obstacles.  We have gotten through all of them and are just waiting to receive the final signatures to satisfy our investors. 
     
    We realize that next week starts a new month and we thank you all for hanging in there with us as we embark on this great adventure.  As for travel, like we said before, once we get going everything will move fairly quickly.  Knowing that some of you have loose ends to close and other tasks to take care of we, will make sure you have plenty of time to get your personal affairs in order.
     
    Bruce, I,  and the other executives have been working very hard behind the scenes to keep things moving.  I will keep each of you posted on a daily basis from this point on.  Yes, we are that close.

    Hello Everyone,
    I wanted to let you all know where we are in our final progress on getting to Atlanta.  Bruce and I have been very busy getting convenient and very comfortable arrangements completed, which include airfare and hotel.  We are getting through an obstacle- the hotels are at capacity on Saturday, but available all other days.  We don’t want you sleeping in your cars on Saturday night (LOL).  I have worked through that, and we believe we will have your confirmations and a revised schedule shortly.   For those of you who remember, travel/airfare/hotel was going to be your responsibility after receiving your contractor/bonus/relocation compensation.  We have taken this expense upon ourselves as a token of goodwill for your patience, and to ease your transition.
     Long story short about the delayed checks: We had some concerns about phone calls and emails Bruce and I received over the past couple of days.  Some of you shared your concerns on needing the funds available sooner than later.  We completely understand, are sympathetic and as a result,  we are exploring other avenues we can take to get funds available sooner than later (reason - the bank regulations require a hold on your funds for at least 10 business days).  We have explored the option of wiring, but have already been down this avenue before which ended up in a confusing position, so here is my decision:
    1.      We’ve decided to delay travel to Atlanta by 2 days (August 7 – August 13/14 for officers and August 11 – 13/14 for everyone else). 
    2.      As an option – We will give you 10 business days from the day you receive your bank check to arrive in Atlanta for your initial evaluation, submit your updated project report and complete your contract signing.
    3.      Bruce and I will be in Atlanta within the next day or so to start setting up the our offices and to start home inspections.  Contact us immediately via email if financially you are ok with the dates in #1  (we will still provide hotel and airfare).
    4.      If you are not able to make it until a later date (after the allotted 10 business days), you will be responsible for arranging your travel and accommodations (if necessary).
    5.      Failure to make it to Atlanta (without prior agreement) within the 10 day period may result in contract cancellation.
     Regardless of your situation, we want to ensure you have the opportunity to have the resources you need prior to getting to Atlanta.  However, we need to protect our investment and begin production as soon as possible.
    I am rearrange our plans and need to know immediately what your decision is.  We regret we were not able to make the anticipated confirmations today, and we are going to do everything in our power to get confirmations from our hotel/travel partners and a revised schedule to you.

    Hello everyone,
     
    I would like to update you all on the current status of things and the potential schedule going forward. First let me say that nothing has stopped and progress continues to be made.  At this point I am working on working out the final details on the property we are acquiring for the prototype in Atlanta. Although close, we do have some details that still need to be completed.  In addition, I have my monthly scheduled meeting with the investors coming up and I am working diligently to outline a possible revision to the prototype schedule which would be more appropriate for all parties concerned. These two elements are crucial and must have my undivided focus right now.
     
    So our plan and schedule will now be as follows:
     
    ·         All GormanOne team members will travel to Atlanta within the next 10 days.  It is possible that that time frame could be less.  We have travel itineraries set with the travel agent and will purchase tickets when we have a clear time.
    ·         All contractor and bonus checks will be handed out when we meet in Atlanta. For those who have special circumstances which I have approved you will still have the same arrangement as before.
    ·         All GormanOne team members are on the payroll for August.  So with that said I first expect everyone to use the time remaining in August to handle your transition to Atlanta.  As of August 30th you must be in Atlanta ready to work full time.  In addition, I would like to see everyone totally focused this month on continuing to move the company forward and making real progress towards our goals.  Expect to have contact with Aless, Ramon and myself as to what you are working on and expectations for this month.
    ·         To be clear, GormanOne will happily pay for your trip to Atlanta, which will including your airfare and your hotel stay (maximum of a week for officers and 3 nights for everyone else) to sign contracts and meet with leadership should that be necessary.  Any and all trips back to Atlanta are to be paid out of your sign-on bonuses.  So please be prepared to manage your transition this month as soon as the contracts are signed.
    ·         I would recommend that each of you keep your personal health insurance until at least September.  We know for a fact that it takes a month until the GormanOne insurance is in effect.
    ·         I will update all of you soon with a more detailed long term strategy and timeline once I have cemented things.  We will need to move quickly and with urgency.  I am confident that this team will rise to the occasion.
    I realize that this entire team is ready to go.  I appreciate your patience and understanding.  What we accomplish over the next few days will benefit the company, and all of you, considerably.  Expect additional updates as the week progresses.  As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Aless, Ramon, Christina or myself.

    Hello Everyone,
     
    I thought I would go ahead and follow up with an update since I know a little more information.  Bruce is still in NC and will be for at least another week to two weeks.  It doesn't look good for his family member.  Her (Monica) situation has not changed and they don’t sound very hopeful.  They are still monitoring her heart and lungs.  They did complete the surgery on the aneurism. Our prayers are with her and her family.  I'm sure the Lord has a plan for her. 
     
    Bruce has to go through a battery of tests ordered by his doctor there.  His blood pressure was up so they decided to make him stay for a minute.  I know that is not the news you wanted to here, but that is what I got.  Until he is medically fit things are on hold.  I could push things myself but it will only be half of the information we need to get going.  I have a phone meeting with the investors on Wednesday and will know more then. I will definitely update you that evening.
     
    So as it stands we are back in a holding pattern for at least a week maybe two.  It will depend on what the doctors say.  We know pushing things back yet again puts some of you, if not all of you, in situations you don’t want to be in.  Believe me we truly understand.  I know for a fact that some of you are gravely concerned about the project and if in fact we will ever get up a running.  The answer to that is yes, just not right now.  I’m going to be more frank than Bruce is and ever will be.  For me HIS health comes first.  HE comes first.  Not GormanOne.  We can start this company at any time.  While he is away I have to hold down the fort here until his return.  As for all of you who are to receive contractor checks – I cannot – I REPEAT CANNOT give you a date on when they will be sent out until I have had my meeting with the investors.  We are also obligated for August salaries and we understand that, but again I cannot give information on that until I have the meeting.
     
    I am also sure that some of you will decide to go off and do something else.  We understand your reasoning for that as well.  We hope you all stay with us but we cannot force you to do that.  You have to make a decision on what is best for you and your family.  I am making that decision for mine right now.  So if you are submitting your letter of resignation Please be gentle and please make sure you send it to me, Bruce, Ramon, and MAC.  For everyone else who decides to stay – thank you.  This is just another hurdle we will have to get over in order to succeed.  Another obstacle that I won’t let stand in our way.  All of you should know that I am in constant contact with every vendor and business partner we have contacted over time.  I have noted on what was said to them and what we need to give to them. If I need to send them an update please let me know immediately.  I’ve already contacted some of them.
     
    If you have questions, you can reach me at either one of our numbers.  Remember I have both phones.  I will be out of the house at about 7:00 EST for a couple of hours but other than that I’m here.  Tomorrow I have an appointment at 8:30 a.m. then another at 11:00 a.m. outside of the home as well.  Otherwise I should be available anytime after 1:00 p.m.  EST for phone calls and to answer any emails.  Also, I know a lot of you call and talk to Ramon – or shall I say VENT to Ramon even after we’ve asked you to let us know or only to contact us.  WE understand your reasoning for this as well.  I’m just going to place it out there once again.  Ramon will be in light – very light contact for a few days.  He will be available by phone sometimes, but otherwise he will be out of range to talk and discuss things with you at this moment.  If you have a problem with coming to the owners of this company with anything then that is a problem.  You can contact us and let us know your concerns in this matter.  You have my ins and outs for the next few days in the first two lines of this paragraph.  Other than those times I will be available.  Don’t be afraid to contact me.  I promise I won’t bite.

  18. Nothing ever good comes from screwing people over and lying to them. This is only the beginning of bad things that are in the works for this guy, and mark my words, as someone with a legal background I can clearly say that  if you bring new people in to the company and you know this is going on you are liable for damages. I would think about that before I stick around.

     Tell those around you that dont know the truth what the truth is. If you dont, you are just as terrible as those the Gormans. 

    • They might be liable for damages, but they don't have anything to take. If it's criminal then I hope they end up in jail. But even that doesn't seem to phase them, Bruce has already spent years locked up. I guess once a convict always a convict!
