I'm 13 and for 13 years my mom has always hated me. Every time I turn around she's calling me names. I don't know what's wrong with me though. I have perfect grades and I'm the only 7th grade 1st violin and I worked very hard for both of those. But in her world I am the most worst thing that's ever happened to her. I've tried stabbing myself in the wrist with a sewing needle but it's not sharp enough. Neither are razors. I've jumped out of a car but only got away with a swollen hand and more names. She convinces everyone that she's always right and I'm always wrong and that's how it's been since the day I was born. I'm getting tired of living in her shadow. What do I do?     You shouldnt harm urself just to get someone to notice you cause all it does is make them believe ur being silly and they assume that tough-love will help.

    unfortunatley you get only one mother and believe me if i could have another i would too.  Keep doing wat makes you happy and if ur mum keeps acting the way she does she will be the one that misses out.

    my sister use to hurt herslf when thing were bad too, but u should no that someone cares for u and when u do that it just hurts them, maybe even more then it hurts you.

    i no this anit exactly advice but i just thought i would say a lil something that was on my mind.  This is why sister didnt get the chance to see many things and she has missed out on a great life, i miss her and i wish she would of thought of me before she did wat she did.
