Hey, micro manage in the building, on the clock. You know I'll get the work done, and get it done well and get it done before I go home. Calling me to let me know you forgot to tell me something, that's ok. But calling every ten minutes to make sure to do this, make sure to do that, step off. And just because you can dial in to the computer to make changes from home, don't, unless it's a function I need you to do because it's a secure function only you can do. If I need that, I'll call you. Otherwise, I have things ready to go, then you go and change it and I don't realize it until there's a problem because you made changes I was unaware of. Let me do my job. Otherwise, you come in and YOU do it.

I had a bipolar boss once that would send emails in the middle of the night with a 10 a.m. deadline the next morning. That was a nice thing to wake up to at 6 a.m. when you have to get the kids off to school and yourself ready. I found myself waking up throughout the night and checking my email so I wouldn't miss anything. Some of these people can really make your life hell!
