My boyfriend of nine months is moving two hours away to go to college while I'm still in high school. While he was here with me he would do anything for me or do anything I'd ask. Hes told me numerous time that when he got to college he was going to talk to who ever he wanted. He wants to be best friends with a girl that he used to be crazy about. I've told him how I feel about it but he said they are just friends, but I know hes attracted to her and here lately hes been acting very negative. For example when I talk about us breaking up, his emotions make him seem like he honestly doesnt care. How should I feel, or what should I do?

    I was in a long distance relationship my freshman year of college. My boyfriend was mr. hotshot college football player which meant that every girl on campus was trying to hook up with him. I don't think he ever cheated but I was always worried about that and I lacked trust. This ended up stressing me out constantly and made our relationship very rocky. I started getting mad at little things and he was mad that I didn't trust him. I ended up breaking up with him the next summer because I couldn't take it anymore. Moral of the story: if you think you'll be able to trust him completely then I'd say go for it. If you are the type to worry about it, you have no idea how much this could affect your daily life with all the worrying, stressing, and picturing him cheating and lying about it. Also, think about your boyfriend.. is he trustworthy? My ex was the player guy in high school and i was his first girlfriend. Red flag right there. You need to decide if it's worth it. One last thing, think about how often you'll see each other. Two hours isn't horrible and you guys can visit each other. I was across the country from my ex.
