I don't even know anymore

Today I found out that my best friend (whom I have strong feelings for) got his heart broken by the slut of the century when she turned him down. That happened a few days ago though. That same day, her psychotic ex went down to get at my friend even though she was still there and she has a restraining order against said ex. My friend's step dad went out and beat the shit out of the ex for breaking the gate into the property while another girl who was there called the cops. Now the ex is out of jail, thanks to his father, and trying his best to hunt down his ex, my friend, and the girl who called the police and get THEM locked up. To top matters off, my friend deleted his Facebook profile, destroyed his phone, and told me in a voice mail to wait for him to call again because that'll mean he's "interested in talking again". All I want to do is hit him over the head and yell how stupid he was for liking her because all she does is leave a trail of trouble and destruction and scream how I care about him ten times more than she ever will. But I can't. Because I'm just a friend. And I don't want to risk my friendship with him. COULD the situation get more fucked up??? Oh YEAH! His friend who's three years younger than us is trying to use the opportunity to hit on me. Ugh. Graduate high school first, kid.
