Driving me Nuts

My friend has been acting really crazy lately. All she does is go on tumblr and talk about how much she wants a boyfriend. Not a boyfriend to have a relationship with, but a guy who wants to fuck. It's driving me a little nuts because she's being really shallow about it. She just writes about how horrible a person she is, how horrible looking she is, and she writes about how it isn't fair that she has to lower her standards and why couldn't it be the other way around, and it's just insane sometimes. First of all, honey, you've just gotten out of high school, the guys there aren't as mature as an adult in college. Second, grow some confidence! Would you really want to be with a self-depricating man? No. Third, stop assuming that all guys are selfish assholes. I've never had a boyfriend before, but I have guy friends and guy enemies who aren't the shallow twerps you keep making all of malekind out to be. Fourth, get the fuck off of tumblr. If you want to find a guy, get off your computer, get out of your room and go find him. Stop whining over the internet and expecting him to find you. Using tumblr to separate yourself from reality isn't going to get you laid. You need to go out and stop living in this hole that you're digging yourself into.
