The lovely MMO for tween audiences Spineworld was taken down in 2010 and replaced with 'Migoland' - a boring version of the old game set in an everyday, urban world, with an absolute downgrade of graphics and entertainment level.
The more I think about our beloved spineworld, the more tears I shed. I loved travelling in the lovely steampunk world with beautiful isometric pixel graphics.
But then, something happened. Something horrible happened. Spineworlde devolved, and became 'Migoland'. The graphics here look like some kid's job in paint. It's boring, and provides no break from ordinary life excepting pirate ships and castles. Other than that, it is an urban everyday place.
It broke my heart to play steam racers in Migoland, but I shed tears when they removed it. There is no more catching a tram from the mysterious underground, completing quests and earning your ghost costume. There are no quests. You can buy ghost costumes. The world is tiny. The only good reason to play it is house parties and snowball fights, which get boring after a while.
I beg of you, I plead with you, I will pay for spineworld, as long is you return the beautiful, adventurous little world - filled with quests and pets - to us. Yours sincerely, the masses faithful to Spineworld.
