    definitely not alone on this one. there aren't many people who see the real me, which is the most painful thing for me about being shy. i'm a long long way from conquering it but the thing thats helped me the most so far is facing the fear. at the moment my resolution is not to avoid people, because escaping doesnt get you anywhere. there's a girl i know who really inspires me because, even though she's kooky and often makes a bit of a tit of herself, people love her because she's completely genuine. so just say what you're thinking and do what you want to do. drive yourself, and disregard what you think others might think of you. hard work, i know, but you really can do it man :]
