Okay - advertising is totally screwed. Ads on tv talk about losing weight and at the same time place an (*) on it saying "Diet and exercise are advised".
Hmmm...maybe they should start putting ads on there that talk about just exercise without joining a program or taking a pill!!!

Our culture is all about profit. Where's the profit in just telling people they can lose weight for free by changing their diet and exercising? Remember the western mantra: "Greed is good."

Ohhhh yes,
I also did intend to communicate that people could possibly think in two ways:
"I have the option of taking your pill and then exercising and dieting at the same time to see the results"
or
"I could actually call up a friend or choose to go workout for myself without the placebo effect and educate myself on fitness".
The reason I chose to rant here is because I wish I could see some kind of advice like this written out there for people based on those commericals!
