Growing up, I got Christmas and Hannukah. Now that I am a grown woman, I am agnostic. So why do you guys keep making your Jew jokes? The sad part is I am starting to get offended by them now because, if you are making these jokes with me, who really isn't Jewish at all and I am getting offended. How much are you offending other people. And news flash, the reason I keep saying "I'm not jewish" every time you make a joke is because I want you to stop. Everyone in this town thinks I am a practicing Jew now. Thanks assholes.

      There isn't anything wrong with it. That's not what I'm saying. I'm tired of people making those offensive jokes around me when there are no grounds for it. Hell, even if I was still a practicing Jew I would be sick of the jokes. To me its like if someone was walking around saying that a gay man is straight. Religion is a very personal thing and for someone to just be falsely portraying mine is deeply offensive to me.

        Why not say just that? The next time someone makes a rude or tasteless joke, about being Jewish or anything that offends you why not stearnly and seriously reprimand that person? Curse if you have to, let yourself get angry as you tell that person how tasteless, and offensive you find them and their jokes. If you make a big deal about it, and they can see how upset you are. they will probably stop. Most likely they don't realize you're fed up in a serious manner. I hope you get your point across.
