You make a lot of comments about the people, environment and being social, but you left out the most important issue, GOD.  He should be first and foremost at any religious gathering.  Everything you mentioned is outward and the love of God is from within.  When you experience the love of His Son, Jesus Christ you will be elated and all else will seem trivial.

Let us put religion aside for a minute and think in absolute RATIONAL, are you 100% sure Chritianty is the way? There are hundreds of religions that are practiced today and every devout one of those thinks his/her way is the right path for salvation. well, all what one needs to do is to get few hundreds random keys to a door where only one is the right one and let us see your chances of pulling blindly the right key!! Huh, very slim at best!!!

I believe in God, the creator of the world who will judge my intention, actions and own settings irrspective all the hype about religion. So if you think your own salvation through Jesus christ, God bless you, I think you will be saved as long as you don't go out and hurt people, lie, cheat, destroy...etc. and if I think my savior is through practicing Islam I will be saved as long as I contribute to the bottom line of myself, family, country and humanity (I am a muslim and I am saying this, can you believe it?).

" No, I can't. You call yourself a Muslim, but you aren't one, in my opinion. I don't think a Muslim can hold the views you do and be a true Muslim. Your humanity is showing through. You are tolerant. Isn't the definition of Muslim to take the Koran (and hadith to a lesser extent) as the literal and unalterable word of Allah (God). If I understand correctly, it isn't a democracy. If you deviate, you are an apostate, subject to death. A follower asked Mohammed, "What should we do if someone wants to leave Islam?"[become apostate] Mohammed answered, "You should kill him." A poll last year found that 85% of people in Egypt think that if someone leaves Islam, they should be killed. That isn't freedom of religion. I think you need to find another religion, one of those hundreds you mention, that accords more closely with your beliefs. In the Koran it lays out how to treat those who aren't Muslim: "...kill, enslave, or convert the unbeliever." While it also says "...there is no coercion in religion...", that verse is abrogated by all the major branches of Islam. You definitely aren't in accord with the first verse. There are probably dozens of ways to get to the top of a mountain. All will get you there, but what it important about getting there for each individual is that the journey be in accord with their character. Ramakrishna used to use the illustration of a mother preparing fish for her children. Some like it pickled, some like it steamed, fried, roasted, curried, etc. He said that God created many religions so that people can practise the one that suits them, so they are pleased by their practice. You sound like a fine person, and I welcome your attitude. I just don't think it is very realistic to consider yourself Muslim with that attitude. In many Muslim countries, from what I have read and watched, that attitude would be a death sentence for you.
