   First of all, no evidence that Obama has spent millions - or, really, anything - fighting these flaky lawsuits.  The lawyers who have appeared were associated with the Obama campaign last year and it appears they are doing this work as a freebee.  So far those lawyers have had to do nearly nothing, inasmuch as the judges kick those cases out without waiting for them to respond.

   Second, mentioned in another person's entry, Alan Keyes doesn't have standing any more than any of the other purported plaintiffs.  Even winning this lawsuit wouldn't help Keyes -- he lost the election so thoroughly you'd think Charles Manson was his running mate.

   Obama HAS SHOWN US his birth certificate.  It's that page of green safety paper his office made public last year.  According to the Hawaii Health Dept, it is the ONE AND ONLY birth document presently being issued for ANYONE born in Hawaii.  It states very clearly that Obama was born in Honolulu, and that his birth was registered with Hawaii Health Dept within two business days (and two Honolulu newspapers reported the birth within a week of that registration).  THe certificate is on the official form and it has the official impression seal.  THe director of the Hawaii Health Dept and the (Republican) Governor have both gone public to attest that this document made public by Obama is the genuine article.  Hawaiian laws, cited at the bottom of that form, make it clear that document is the legal equivalent of any other birth document.  The Hawaii Health Dept says that no other (older, more detailed) birth document will be issued - for anyone - except by court order.

   Now, if you're looking for a President who wouldn't let people see his birth certificate, there's Ronald Reagan.  Old Ron wouldn't let anyone see his b/c because he was actually afraid that, knowing the exact date and time of his birth, the Commies would draw up his horoscope.  Fancy Nancy wouldn't let anyone see hers either - because she had been fudging her age by a few years ever since her Hollywood days.
