thank you! that song blurr....thats so true!!! but you are right, i should just relax. and yes hopefully someone will be looking at me jealously one day because im with someone (not to be mean but that would be nice).

Merry Christmas to you as well, just to clear up a mistake on my part by the way- wasn't Blurr after all, it was a group called Airhead i think, a one hit wonder from the 90's. (someone is bound to pick it up if i don't say)

Posted on December 02, 2007 at 08:11 PM (UTC) ( over 5 years ago )Hey you, feeling your pain, if it makes you feel any better the views the same from the other side of the fence. I am a bloke, older and more than likely in a far less atractive state visually and lifestyle wise than yourself.
I am having a second go at this after marriage and have found that apart from the rules being more complex not much else has changed from when i was a teen. Do you know blurr?? Damon Alban singing ' funny how the girls you fall in love with never fancy you, funny how the girls you don't do' change girl for guy if you want - all much th same- theres less of a gap between the sexes than reported.
I've been married and if there is evidence of 'the one' out there i haven't seen it, but i do know that its mostly point of view.
I guarantee you will eventually get there, christmas is no big deal either way- its just a day, the couples were always and will always be there, one day you'll be half of one with someone looking at you with jealousy no doubt. In the meantime the best advice i had recently was relax- it'll happen when you stop looking too hard. Go out and enjoy yourself live your life and it will by default take you where you want to go.
