The Chinese believe that a wife of a man is like a beautiful bird that must be kept in an equally beautiful cage. I think this is a beautiful poetic analogy to the desire of women. Yes its nice for a woman to be free and do whatever you want. Yes it is also nice to be sitting in the best cage around that other birds couldn't break into if they tried! In the end women look at the bars all day long and forget that the cage door is not even locked. No matter how entrapping your situation is, you are never trapped (unless physically). Meditate and come to understand why you are free, and both why and how you would escape if that became your choice. It is important to not lose sight of the exit so that you understand the logisitics of your position :).
