RE: Election 2008
Posted on September 05, 2008 at 06:23 AM (PDT) ( ago )wrote the following:
I appreciate that you look for actual facts when reading about the candidates, I just take issue with a couple of things you said about each candidate -
McCain: 1) Being rich isn't in and of itself a negative. Admittedly, it does make it hard for people to relate to him, and possibly vice versa 2) His wife isn't half his age. She's about 19 years younger than he is, and that is neither here nor there. The fact that he left his first wife was between the 2 of them, and is nobody's business, just as the Clinton affair was between him and his wife, and was nobody's business.
Obama: 1) Hasn't denounced his Christianity, only a particular church, for which I applaud him, because of the racist and hateful crap being spewed from the mouth of the pastor there. I believe when he said he wouldn't denounce his Christian church, he was referring to his Christian faith, not a particular church. That's just my impression. 2) He is a great speaker...but so what?
As for the first commentor...I won't even bother.
