I also did intend to communicate that people could possibly think in two ways:
"I have the option of taking your pill and then exercising and dieting at the same time to see the results"
or
"I could actually call up a friend or choose to go workout for myself without the placebo effect and educate myself on fitness".
The reason I chose to rant here is because I wish I could see some kind of advice like this written out there for people based on those commericals!
