     The problem with saying that they will be sorely missed is that is what most people who concider suicide expect and hope for, because the nature of suicide is selfish and contains no thought for others except to expect that they will mourn.

     As for the original post, you are in control of your life and happiness. You need to decide to enjoy what you have or improve it through hard work. If you are seriously concidering this then you have some sympathy because if your serious that is a dark place your in- but you can choose to come back out.
     Remember all things change and however bad things seem in a day/week/month/year they will not seem quite the same and you can adapt to more than you think you can.

     You might not be religious- i am not either. But using a prayer and altering it to suit:
     Have the serenity to accept the things you can not change, the courage to change those you can and the wisdom to know the diference
