The subject of God is much deeper and wider and most people think, and most people's knowledge and experience of it is very superficial, and they like to keep it that way. Remember, too, atheism is a faith based belief system, because it is logically impossible to prove a negative; you can never logically prove God doesn't exist, therefore, you have to accept that He doesn’t exist on faith. It is a belief, not a certainty, and can never logically be a certainty.
